Logistics Administrator (Weekend Availability)

Are you organised and confident with excellent communication skills? Our client is seeking a reliable Logistics Administrator based near Ashby De La Zouch to manage the smooth flow of lorries checking in and out. This role is perfect if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want a weekend position with competitive pay.

1. Weekend shifts: Choose from either or both Saturday 6am-6pm and Sunday 10am-10pm every weekend

What you’ll be doing:

5. Check lorries in and out efficiently and accurately, ensuring smooth site access
6. Communicate clearly with drivers, site staff, and management to coordinate arrivals and departures
7. Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and documentation
8. Monitor and report any issues or discrepancies promptly to site supervisors
9. Enforce site safety and security protocols at the gatehouse
10. Assist with general site enquiries and provide excellent customer service

What we’re looking for:

11. Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or gatehouse roles preferred but not essential
12. Strong communication skills and a professional manner
13. Ability to work independently and stay alert during long shifts
14. Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to weekend working
15. Basic IT skills to log vehicle details accurately
