Overview
Children's Support Worker – Drivers Only role at Nurseplus. This position involves providing high-quality care across a range of children’s services, including residential homes, SEN schools, learning disability and challenging behaviour settings, and supporting children with more complex care needs. You’ll be part of a compassionate team where every contribution counts and you can make a real difference in a child’s life.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
* Supporting, safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour
* Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention
* Assisting with educational development and personal care to help children gain independence
* Contributing to a positive and supportive environment for the children you support
What We're Looking For
* You must be over 21 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
* A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience in a children/young adult setting.
* Knowledge in one of EBD, SEMH, CSE or SEN/SEND.
* A Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People\'s Workforce is desirable.
* A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
* A clear enhanced DBS (you can apply for upon registration).
