Kirby Group Engineering is looking for someone to lead our UK Power & Renewables engineering function. Not to sit in endless meetings or write reports no one reads. But to build, shape and energise a team that delivers.

What You'll Actually Do
* Lead and grow a team of electrical engineers who support UK operations.
* Create a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Balance resources, risks and deadlines without losing sight of quality or safety.
* Act as the bridge between engineering, commercial, operations and clients.
* Build relationships that give Kirby an edge - with consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Spot issues before they become problems and deal with them head-on.
What We Need From You
* Experience leading engineering teams in power, renewables or heavy infrastructure.
* The confidence and presence to win respect at every level - from graduates to directors.
* The ability to simplify complexity, communicate clearly, and make decisions under pressure.
* A track record of building teams that perform - not just filling seats.
* Enough commercial awareness to understand how engineering decisions impact cost, delivery and client trust.
