CarmichaelUK are looking for an experienced Site Engineer with strong earthworks experience to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in delivering one of the UK’s largest infrastructure schemes, involving large-scale cut and fill operations, drainage, bulk earthworks, and enabling works.
Your Role
As a Site Engineer, you’ll be responsible for providing technical and site support to ensure that works are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently. You’ll be working within a highly skilled engineering team and supporting the Section Engineer and Sub Agent on day-to-day delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting out for earthworks, drainage, and associated civil works
* Overseeing QA documentation and ensuring compliance with design and specification
* Working closely with subcontractors and site teams to deliver work packages to programme
* Preparing method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs
* Carrying out as-built surveys and maintaining accurate records
* Promoting a strong safety culture on site
* Supporting environmental and quality objectives
