Join a global leader in electrified propulsion and clean energy systems as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design of next-generation inverters, DC-DC converters, and onboard chargers (OBCs) for advanced EV and hybrid applications.
What You’ll Do
* Lead design and optimisation of magnetics, capacitors, and converter topologies
* Develop mixed-signal and digital control platforms for power electronics
* Model and simulate systems (Simscape, PLECS, MATLAB)
* Define inverter and converter control strategies with control engineers
* Ensure compliance with IEC61508, ISO26262, CISPR25
* Drive multi-disciplinary projects and act as the technical interface for key clients
* Mentor engineers and support proposals, R&D, and innovation initiatives
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience with power electronic systems (inverters, DCDCs, OBCs, converters)
* Background in automotive, aerospace, marine, defence, or clean energy
* Strong grasp of digital/mixed-signal design, EMC, and noise mitigation
* Skilled in simulation, modelling, and magnetic design
* Track record of technical leadership and customer collaboration
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Power Engineering
