We’re looking for a Planner or Senior Planner to join our team at Walter Thompson Contractors.
Based in our Northallerton head office, you’ll play a key role in planning and delivering a wide range of construction projects across sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare and education, typically ranging in value form £500k to £15m.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Producing and managing construction programmes from tender through to completion.
* Working closely with contracts managers, site teams and commercial teams
* Monitoring progress and identifying risks and opportunities
* Supporting tender submissions with programmes and methodology
* Preparing short-term programmes and progress updates
* Engaging with clients, consultants and subcontractors
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a planning role within a main contractor
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and delivery
* Experience with planning software (Asta Powerproject preferred)
* Good communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Ability to influence programme strategy and support project teams
