Hours of Work: Full time
As a Trainee CNC Turner, you will undergo comprehensive training to become a skilled professional on the shop floor. You will learn to set up CNC programs, operate machines, and inspect products both manually and with CMM equipment. Reporting to team leaders, you will be integral to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Trainee CNC Turner Duties:
Read drawings and create CNC programs accordingly
Set up and programme CNC machines (Mazak/XYZ)
Conduct first-off dimensional tests on new programs
Feed and operate CNC machines efficiently
Perform in-process controls using manual devices such as gauges and micrometers
Inspect finished products using CNC CMM machines
Handle CNC machines proactively and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Report progress and findings via SAP and on paperTrainee CNC Turner Requirements:
Good ability to work well within a small team environment
Methodical with skills such as 5S or CIP being advantageous
Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently
Willingness to learn and improve personal and work environment
