The approved Electrician will be required to carry out a wide range of electrical duties, including service and response & breakdown works, as well as new build installations. These will primarily be in the commercial & industrial sectors, with a focus on hazardous areas, which may require working and staying away as needed.
More about the role:
* Work at various locations throughout the UK undertaking new electrical installation works.
* Carry out minor civil/construction duties such as clearing cable routes and making holes in walls to facilitate electrical installations.
* Test newly installed circuits/cabling and record results.
* Complete test certification efficiently and submit for approval from the qualifying manager.
* Assist other Engineers as required.
* Ensure all equipment checks are undertaken before starting work.
* Handle the uplifting and offloading of materials in a correct and compliant manner, prioritizing health and safety.
* Ensure the security of all Company equipment.
* Carry out work in accordance with health and safety standards, including reading and signing RAMS documentation.
* Identify repair work required during inspections.
* Liaise with customers on-site regarding ongoing works and additional services.
* Complete all work-related paperwork promptly and submit to divisional staff.
* Coordinate with Line managers and office staff regarding all works and suggest improvements or opportunities.
* Perform any other duties for which the electrician is qualified and capable.
About you:
* Must possess a current valid UK driving license.
* Experience in completing RAMS documentation.
* Willingness to undertake additional training to enhance service delivery.
* C&G 2330 or equivalent qualification.
* NVQ Level 3.
* Test & Inspection certification.
* Right to work in the UK.
