Do you have a deep understanding of the Milton Keynes corporate market and a proven ability to generate results across corporate, M&E, leisure, and group/tour segments ? We're looking for a Proactive Business Development Manager to join the team and take charge of driving revenue across all channels. This role is ideal for a commercial expert who can think strategically, act decisively, and build lasting client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Corporate Sales: Source and secure new midweek corporate contracts to drive occupancy and ADR. Build strong relationships with local businesses and key decision-makers. Meetings & Events (M&E): Maximise conversion and profitability of the 10 M&E spaces, with a focus on residential events and conferences. Leisure Sales: Target weekend business through partnerships, packages, and online channels. Identify and capitalise on seasonal demand. Group & Tour: Develop relationships with tour operators and group planners to increase volume business, especially during shoulder periods. Market Strategy: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy tailored to the Milton Keynes market, aligned with business goals. Networking & Representation: Attend trade shows, exhibitions, client events, and networking functions to drive awareness and new leads. What We're Looking For: Proven track record in hotel sales across multiple segments (corporate, M&E, leisure, and group). Strong knowledge of the Milton Keynes corporate and regional travel marke t. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A self-motivated, proactive approach and strong commercial acumen.
