At Vertiv, we’re looking for a Costing Engineer who will be at the heart of our product pricing strategy for our Busbar product in Ireland. You’ll make sure every cost, from raw materials to final delivery, is understood, measured, and optimized. Your work won’t just be about crunching numbers; it will directly influence decision-making, improve efficiency, and strengthen our bottom line.
What You’ll Do
Become an expert in our Busbar products; understanding every nut, bolt, and process.
Map out manufacturing and supply chain workflows in detail, identifying cost drivers and improvement opportunities.
Generate precise, structured cost data covering materials, labour, machinery, overheads, and time metrics.
Keep cost models accurate and up to date so that the business can make fast, informed decisions.
Create clear, insightful reports for senior management, turning complex data into actionable recommendations.
Partner with Operations, Procurement, R&D, and Offering teams to design smarter, build better, and spend less.
What You Bring
A degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field (bonus points for advanced degrees or certifications).
Experience in cost engineering/analysis within manufacturing.
A sharp understanding of manufacturing processes and cost estimation techniques.
Mastery of Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and cost analysis tools.
A love for precision, problem-solving, and finding efficiencies.
Experience in medium to large industrial organizations.
