Spatial Planning Manager
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months Initially
Rate: £60 per hour (Inside IR35)
Hybrid Working Arrangement
Responsibilities:
 1. Lead in the coordination, development, and maintenance of the local plan for Council which sets the planning policies against which planning decisions are made and is required by statute
 2. As part of the planning service senior management team, work closely with other teams across the service in providing leadership, professional development and expertise to support regeneration and economic growth projects
 3. Negotiation with private sector developers regarding development and investment opportunities to secure major investment in the local area
 4. Lead in the preparation of responses to public consultations including those issued by Government and local authorities
 5. Work in a collaborative manner across a broad range of environmental and socio-economic disciplines
 6. Collect, analyse and interpret evidence including statistical data to meet statutory requirement for local planning
