We have an opportunity available within Aberdeenshire
Banff & Fraserburgh cluster covering GP practices & community hospitals in Banff, Portsoy & Fraserburgh
Full Time/Part Time Opportunities (min 3 days) Monday Friday
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacist to join the Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire. The post holder will join a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and be key to the ongoing provision of the pharmacotherapy service and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing of medicines.

The post holder will support GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management in line with local and national guidelines.

You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Experience of working within Primary Care, medicines management and audit would be an advantage.

Independent Prescriber training would be supported if not already achieved.

The post will include onsite working in GP Practices and / or remote working from an agreed base available options can be discussed with one of the Lead Pharmacists. A full driving licence essential.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
