Job Title: Research Technician (Assistant Scientific Officer) Location: Hillsborough (with work on commercial farms) Salary: Competitive salary Working Hours: Full-time – 37 hours per week Duration: Temporary contract – 6 months (with possibility of extension) About the Role: An established public sector research organisation is seeking a Research Technician- Assistant Scientific Officer to support the delivery of livestock production research projects within Sustainable Livestock Systems. This is a practical, hands-on role involving both on-site and farm-based work. The successful candidate will contribute to a range of scientific studies, supporting data collection, equipment operation, and livestock-related activities. Please note that occasional overtime, including weekend work on a rota basis, may be required.
