All About The Role
The key elements of the role are as follows:
1. Procurement support: Help with sourcing and managing small procurements.
2. P2P process: Assist with verifying and onboarding suppliers.
3. Procurement Systems: Manage and update the e-sourcing system, contracts register, and ERP System.
4. Governance: Oversee the governance process and data on exemptions and contract awards.
5. Process improvement: Use a variety of techniques to improve processes.
All About You
We are looking for someone with procurement experience, ideally within public sector procurement. You should be working towards your CIPS qualification and have a good level of operational buying experience.
You should also possess analytical skills, be able to work with data, and present information to stakeholders and peers, such as analyzing the cost breakdown of goods and services.
Confidence in negotiation, the ability to build solid relationships, and a willingness to challenge the status quo are essential.
