English Teacher – (Southport)
Are you an inspiring and knowledgeable English Teacher looking for a secure a new role? We’re seeking a dedicated English specialist to join one of our supportive secondary schools in Southport, delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils achieve strong outcomes across KS3 and KS4.

Requirements for this Role
To apply, you’ll need:
An up-to-date CV covering your full employment history (including any gaps)
The right to work in the UK
Two professional references
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
A driving licence is desirable but not essential
PGCE with QTS in English (or a recognised FE qualification with suitable classroom experience)

PAYE – monthly pay as standard (weekly pay available if absolutely necessary)

Long-term roles can be paid to scale (M1–UPS) where appropriate

Once the qualifying period is met, you will receive pay and working conditions equivalent to permanent teaching staff, including pay scale placement and access to school facilities and policies.
