Support Worker – Keys Group
Location: St Austell, Cornwall PL25
Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours)
Salary:£12.60 – £13.30 per hour
About Our Service: A beautiful complex of three properties including a converted 4‑bedroom barn where four ladies live and two single‑occupancy annexes. A communal courtyard supports social gatherings and warm evening BBQs. 24/7 support with a variety of shifts available.
Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
* Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
* Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
* Assisting with personal care as required.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
* Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
Qualifications & Development
Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development. As a Support Worker you will be involved in day‑to‑day support and routine of the people within the service including life skill development, personal care and domestic tasks.
