1:1 Teaching Assistant (Supply Work) - Nottingham Location: Nottingham and surrounding areas Contract Type: Supply / Temporary (Full-time or Part-time) Pay: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: ASAP About the Role Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's education? We are seeking dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Nottingham, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on a supply basis. You'll play a vital role in helping pupils reach their full potential by providing tailored, one-to-one support - both in and out of the classroom. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, or communication difficulties. Assist with learning activities, behaviour management, and emotional regulation. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs). Foster an inclusive, positive and nurturing learning environment. Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers. About You Previous experience supporting children in a school or SEND setting is desirable. A calm, positive, and proactive approach to supporting learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one). Flexibility to work across different schools and age groups.
