About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is experiencing significant growth within its specialist oncology division and is looking to appoint a Key Account Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative, and patient-focused team that’s driving meaningful impact within the oncology space.
The business has ambitious plans for growth in oncology and is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager who can make an immediate contribution to both patient access and commercial success across the South Coast region.
The Role
As Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
* Driving sales growth, market access, and advocacy development across your territory.
* Developing and executing territory business plans aligned with company and brand objectives.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with TAEs and KOLs
* Maintaining a deep understanding of the oncology treatment landscape, NHS structures, and evolving care pathways.
* Supporting cross-functional collaboration with medical, marketing, and access teams to ensure aligned strategy and execution.
* Ensuring continuity of key accounts and maintaining excellent customer relationships throughout the maternity cover period.
About You
* Proven success as a Key Account Manager in the pharmaceutical industry (secondary care / specialist medicine).
* Experience in Oncology is highly desirable but not essential.
* Strong scientific understanding and ability to communicate complex clinical data effectively.
* Excellent strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and account planning capability.
* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
* Life Science or Scientific Degree (desirable).
