Regionally focused experienced materials procurement specialist.
Works as part of a dedicated materials procurement team for the regional operating unit to develop the regional supply chain to suit the demand.
Provide market competitive procurement solutions for the operating unit which demonstrate best overall value for money.
Provide an effective and professional service in the procurement of materials covering: -
Construction stage project procurement for Project Leader, including: -
Supporting the production and driving of the procurement schedule
Supporting the development of work package documents in conjunction with project teams
Support the regional supply chain management activities, including structuring the supply chain, carrying out performance and relationship management to drive improved performance/cost benefits.
Support activities that generate and encourage an efficient, productive and continuously improving supply chain performance.
Support the group procurement functional goals and objectives within the region
Ensure supplier evaluation forms and risk assessments are maintained
Support the development of an accredited and structured supply chain that is aligned to the regional demands and overall Murphy strategy
Input to the monitoring of the market place to ensure awareness of pricing trends, risks and opportunities.
Continuously seek out and assess new supply chain members to meet regional project demand.
