Job Description
3. Liaising with lawyers to identify their work commitments and prioritise work accordingly
4. Diary Management
5. Arranging meetings and appointments both internally and externally
6. Booking travel and meetings
7. Producing PowerPoint presentations, organisational charts, mail merges, Excel spreadsheets
8. Managing production of documents
9. Audio and copy typing for complex and confidential documents (typing will also be supported by the Document Production team)
10. Handle client telephone enquiries in a polite & professional manner within the agreed timescales.
11. General administration
12. Participate in projects at the discretion of management.
13. Assist lawyers in the billing and credit control process
The Successful Applicant
14. Experience of dealing directly with clients by telephone
15. Legal Secretarial experience within a private client environment would be advantageous
16. Excellent computer skills
17. Excellent administrative and organisational skills
18. Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate verbally and in writing
19. Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines under pressure
20. Ability to use initiative
21. Attention to detail
