IT Support Engineer
Opportunity:
Our trusted partner, a highly reputable cloud consultancy, is hiring a 2nd Line Engineer with experience troubleshooting software applications within an Azure, Intune, Entra ID, and 365 environment. Our client offers a basic salary of £37,000 + 15% bonus, with the role based in Bromley or Victoria, requiring presence three times per week. They provide training, career progression, and a supportive/collaborative environment.
You should be a good communicator and technically proficient, capable of providing strategic guidance on technology and IT infrastructures. You may also be involved in guiding and providing technical expertise during design, selection, implementation, and technology choices.
Responsibilities:
* Engaging with clients to determine their technology requirements
* Delivering projects within defined scope, quality, cost, and timescale for success
* Clarifying client system specifications and understanding their working practices and business nature
* Working at customer sites and liaising with staff at all levels, requiring good stakeholder management
* Developing and implementing new technologies
* Presenting solutions clearly in reports and presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Designing, testing, installing, and monitoring systems during project phases
* Preparing documentation and progress reports post-implementation
Technical Proficiencies Required:
* Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and 365
* Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy
* Basic network support, such as DHCP reservations
* IP/TCP hardware resolution at the administration level
* Mobile Device Management and Security products
* Backup and Disaster Recovery technologies with a strong understanding of Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
Package:
* Salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience, plus bonus, salary reviews, career progression, training, certifications, pension, and holidays
