We’re looking for passionate and adaptable Secondary History Teachers in Bristol who are seeking flexible supply work, with the opportunity to progress into long-term or permanent roles.

✅ The Role:
* Deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach key topics such as British, European, and World History
* Develop students’ analytical, evaluative, and source-analysis skills
* Encourage debate, critical thinking, and historical enquiry
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
* Maintain positive classroom behaviour and a supportive learning environment
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with Humanities departments, support staff, and parents
* Gain experience across a range of school settings through supply placements

* Qualified History Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
* ECTs/NQTs looking to gain experience across different schools

✅ Experience & Requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending QTS
* Degree or strong subject knowledge in History or a related subject
* Experience teaching History at KS3 and/or KS4 (including during training)
* Confident classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
* Commitment to inclusive and high-quality education
* Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply)
