About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Middlesbrough for an enthusiastic and skilled Geography Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This is a full-time role, delivering engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3–5. The successful candidate will inspire students, promote a love of Geography, and contribute to the school’s commitment to high academic standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver Geography lessons across KS3–5 that are engaging, inclusive, and meet curriculum requirements. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and intervention where needed. Maintain classroom order and promote positive behaviour for learning. Contribute to departmental initiatives, schemes of work, and curriculum development. Liaise with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student achievement. Support the wider school ethos, events, and initiatives as required. Person Specification / Key Skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential. Proven experience teaching Geography across KS3–5. Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum requirements. Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
