About the Role
You’ll partner closely with our Home Managers, becoming their trusted advisor on all things people.
From managing complex employee relations to coaching managers and strengthening performance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our teams feel supported, confident and empowered.
Importantly, this role goes beyond support, you will act as a critical friend, confidently challenging thinking, holding leaders to account, and ensuring decisions are balanced, fair, and aligned to both our values and business objectives.
This is a highly visible, regional role, supporting both established and newly commissioned homes. You will play a key part in embedding our culture in new homes, supporting growth, and ensuring consistency across the group as we expand.
You’ll also help us:
* Drive consistency, compliance, and high standards across our homes
* Strengthen leadership capability through both coaching and constructive challenge
* Support succession planning and development of future leaders
* Embed and scale our culture as we grow, particularly within new homes
* Deliver against key people and operational KPIs (including absence, turnover, agency usage, and training)
* Partner with operational leaders to ensure people decisions support commercial performance and sustainable growth
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading complex employee relations cases end‑to‑end
* Coaching managers to confidently handle performance, absence and conduct
* Supporting absence management and improving attendance
* Driving high performance across teams
* Supporting induction, L&D and talent development
* Ensuring HR practices support CQC and regulatory standards
* Building strong, trusted relationships across all homes
About You
You’re flexible and not afraid to roll your sleeves up.
You’re a people person who thrives in operational environments and builds credibility quickly.
You will bring:
* CIPD Level 7 (or working towards)
* Strong experience managing complex ER cases
* A hands‑on, pragmatic and solutions‑focused approach
* Confidence coaching and influencing managers
* Experience in a multi‑site environment (care sector desirable)
* Resilient and calm under pressure, able to manage sensitive situations professionally
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
