About this role
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a new cross functional team, focussing on growing our Loyalty programmes within Just Eat.
Your team will be focussed on expanding and enhancing our Loyalty programmes, collaborating with other teams across the business to deliver new Loyalty benefits and make these available to customers across all of our global markets.
As a Senior Quality Engineer your primary focus will be implementing quality assurance standards and developing and executing test plans to ensure their experience is uninterrupted. This role is a crucial link between JET development teams and the end user, ensuring that the final product aligns with their expectations and our business objectives.
Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week from our Bristol office & 2 days working from home
Reporting to: Senior Technology Manager
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
* Play an integral role in defining and implementing our QA/testing strategy
* Participate in planning meetings to discuss proposals and software improvements
* Help the team to improve test processes and automation in an agile environment
* Become a trusted authority in the team with QA and Automation matters, with a strong evidence-based case for why a release is ready to ship
* Engineer solid, reliable automated tests that are considered as reliable as production code
What will you bring to the table?
* Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to design, plan and execute new feature testing
* Experience with Relational and NoSQL DB
* Background in REST API and REST testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI, etc)
* Experience with Testim.IO and Logging tools (e.g. NewRelic, Graylog, Sentry etc)
