Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager for a North Liverpool based primary school. This is a full-time, long-term role (52 weeks per year) with a daily rate of up to £200 per day.
Main Duties
* To be responsible for the development and daily management of Nursery provision and staff.
* To develop and implement effective Early Years curriculum plans and monitor outcomes taking responsibility for the
* learning and achievement of all pupils in the nursery ensuring equality of opportunity for all
* This role will have direct management responsibility for staff and the unit budget.
* Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries
* appropriate to the professional position
* Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with pupils and their families, parents/carers,
* governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of children and their families
* Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
* Take responsibility for ensuring all aspects of safeguarding are met including in line with site, local and national policies
* and guidance.
Professional Training and Qualifications
* NNEB, NVQ Level 3 Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent
* Level 2 qualification in Maths
* Relevant Early Years curriculum training.
* A commitment to undertake further training and development
* Paediatric First Aid Training or agreement to undertake within 3 months
Experience
* Have at least four years' experience of working in an early years or educational setting with
* children aged 5 and under
* Minimum 2 years' experience of a post with management / supervisory responsibilities
* Experience of implementing a high-quality Early Years Curriculum
* Preparation for Ofsted inspections; and achievement of positive Ofsted reports.
* Has contributed to multi-disciplinary teams regarding the promotion of SEND, Safeguarding
* Health & Safety and/or emotional well-being of children.
* Experience of working with a team of professionals regarding planning and assessments.
* Experience of working in a team and supporting colleagues
* Experience of supporting children with SEND
