The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead an integral project around Health and Social Care Partnerships Primary Care Improvement Plans and the transformational agenda currently being taken forward in General Practice.
The post holder will be part of the GP Re‑provisioning Programme Team supporting over 200 GP Practices as they transition to a new clinical system by June 2027.
Duration, location, and working pattern
This is a fixed‑term post until June 2027. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Smithhills, Paisley. From 1 April 2026 the working week will reduce to 36 hours; pay will be adjusted accordingly so that overall remuneration remains unchanged.
Key responsibilities
* Support implementation of the new clinical system for GP practices.
* Act as facilitator, delivering training programmes and materials for clinical and non‑clinical staff.
* Assist GP practices in quality‑assuring data migrated to the new system.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals across the Health Board to promote digital transformation.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and experience required
You should possess a degree in a relevant discipline or have significant experience in a similar role. Experience in eHealth or Primary Care is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload are essential. Understanding of digital training, e‑learning, learning management systems and GP clinical systems would be advantageous.
