A successful candidate will be a team player and passionate about the teaching of geography.
Responsibilities
* Build positive, trusting relationships with children and bring empathy, patience and enthusiasm to the work.
* Be passionate about enabling all pupils to make good progress in geography.
* Support the subject leader in implementing significant changes to the GCSE curriculum and assessment.
* Develop new initiatives and pedagogies to continue improving the teaching and learning in geography.
* Support colleagues by developing a culture of learning from each other and sharing good practice.
* Promote geography by celebrating pupils’ success and organising enrichment activities.
* Support the wider Humanities Faculty, which may include teaching another humanities subject.
