ABOUT THE ROLE

Were looking for a talented and driven Commercial Finance Manager to join our award-winning team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, youll be a key player in driving financial performance across our care homes, providing insight, leadership, and strategic support.

This is a high-impact role where your expertise will help shape decisions at the highest level, ensuring our homes continue to deliver outstanding care with financial sustainability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead the preparation of full management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations for each care home.
* Present financial performance to the CFO and senior leadership.
* Produce weekly reporting for Directors and Senior Managers.
* Manage VAT and CIS returns across the Group.
* Drive the annual budgeting process, collaborating with Regional Managers and Operations Directors.
* Lead ad hoc projects from process improvements to performance deep-dives.
* Contribute to strategic initiatives such as new home integrations and financial modelling.

* Excellent IT and financial systems proficiency.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

* You should have proven experience leading budget and forecast processes, a background in large, complex businesses (ideally £100m+ turnover), confidence to challenge and support operational teams, a track record of improving systems and processes, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
