We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed business on an exciting trajectory towards an IPO, seeking an exceptional Senior Corporate Counsel to join its expanding legal team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will play a key role in shaping the legal function, supporting strategic decision-making and partnering closely with senior leadership as the business prepares for life as a public company.
The Role
Reporting to senior legal leadership, you will take ownership of a broad and high-impact corporate workload, including:
* Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments
* Corporate governance and board advisory matters
* Pre initial public offering readiness and public company transition work
* Equity structuring and shareholder arrangements
* Complex cross-border corporate transactions and strategic projects
* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the business, providing clear, commercially focused legal guidance and helping balance legal risk with ambitious growth objectives in a dynamic environment.
About You
* Immediately available or available to start at short notice
* Strong corporate law background, including mergers and acquisitions and governance
* Experience within private equity-backed businesses and/or exposure to initial public offering processes is highly desirable
* Commercially astute with strong judgement and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment
* Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level
