The Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) Coordinator provides high-level coordination, administrative and safeguarding business support to the MACPT. The role ensures that multi-agency child protection activity is effectively organised, timely, accurately recorded and fully coordinated, enabling Lead Child Protection Practitioners (LCPPs) and Senior LCPPs to focus on statutory safeguarding decision-making, quality assurance and risk management. The postholder plays a central role in ensuring that strategy discussions, Section 47 activity and multi-agency safeguarding decisions are supported by robust administration, clear records, and effective tracking of actions and timescales, contributing directly to statutory compliance, inspection readiness and safeguarding effectiveness.
