Covering design verification, ensuring new pressure equipment is manufactured safely and to all appropriate standards throughout early stages, conformity assessments, approval for market readiness (and much more!), our team are vital when it comes to the production of new pressure equipment. \n\nTo be considered for this role, you will live between Leeds, Wakefield and Castleford, ideally in proximity to the M62 corridor (Leeds/Yorkshire end) and be willing to travel to customer sites across the UK. \n\nWhat will you be doing?  \n\nAs a Pre-Commissioning Engineer for BES Group Consultancy, you will be responsible for providing pre-commissioning inspection services for pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks across our customer sites. \n\nYou will:  \n\nInspect in-service dangerous goods tanks and pressure equipment to establish fit for purpose, or to ensure quality of modifications and repairs \n\nReview quality documentation relating to materials, welding and non-destructive testing for both newly constructed and repaired/modified equipment \n\nWork closely with our Technical Consultancy Head Office team to ensure that technical and commercial information is communicated effectively, contracts are managed appropriately, and billable time is detailed \n\nManage and deliver specific projects, as well as assisting with the training of our Engineer Surveyors \n\nCarry out detailed reporting, without compromise\n\nEnsure all customers are compliant with the vital regulations that help to govern their industry in the UK \n\nConsistently provide an exceptional level of customer service, ensuring our brilliant company is represented professionally \n\nAs part of our team, you will get:  \n\nA starting salary between £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience \n\n£5,500 annual car cash allowance \n\nUp to 10% pension contribution \n\n2 x life cover \n\nEnhanced maternity / adoption leave \n\nAnnual salary review  \n\n25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays \n\nAn additional day’s holiday for your birthday every year \n\nAccess to our buy and sell holiday scheme \n\nOpportunity for flexible working \n\nElectric Vehicle salary sacrifice scheme  \n\nDiscounts and savings via our employee benefits portal \n\nHealth and wellbeing support via our Employee Assistance Programme \n\nCompany wide volunteering scheme \n\nFundraising support for your chosen charity \n\nTo join our team, you will need:   \n\nA Level 4 engineering qualification and a substantive level of practical experience, alongside an understanding of the pressure equipment directive \n\nAn understanding of pressure equipment (PED / PE(S)R) \n\nExperience of carriage of dangerous goods (CDG / ADR) \n\nConsiderable experience inspecting new or repaired/modified construction pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks within a manufacturing, pharma, nuclear, shipping or other relevant environment \n\nExperience and knowledge of welding processes and procedures, weld inspection and weld defects \n\nTo be able to communicate complex and technical problems with ease \n\nA proficient level of IT and literacy skills to complete detailed customer reports. \n\nWe want you to be you!  \n\nOur focus on diversity, equality and inclusion is here to stay.    \n\nOur team is made up of some of the most skilled and talented people and that’s what matters to us.
