Overview
The Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records within the manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for someone with a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for accounting and finance in Accrington.
Responsibilities
* Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist with preparing payment runs and ensuring compliance with payment terms.
* Maintain accurate records of transactions and support month-end processes.
* Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice queries effectively.
* Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Profile / Qualifications
* Experience in Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger
* Open to a temporary role initially
* Able to commute to Accrington office full time
* Open to considering a part-time role – 27.5 hours per week
