YMCA Heart of England are looking for a Coffee Shop Supervisor to join the team based in Erdington, Birmingham. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,350 per annum. YMCA Heart of England is a Christian charity providing a range of life-changing services for the local community. About the Coffee Shop Supervisor role We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Coffee Shop Supervisor to lead the day-to-day running of Eden Coffee Shop, launching soon at the Chris Bryant Centre in Erdington. This is a great opportunity to be involved from the start and help shape how the space operates. You’ll be responsible for supervising a small team, overseeing daily service, and making sure the coffee shop runs smoothly. Your day-to-day will include: Leading the team in preparing and serving high-quality food and drinks Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented environment Managing stock, placing orders, and handling deliveries Supporting the Centre Manager with budgeting and reporting tasks Providing excellent customer service and resolving issues when they arise We’re looking for someone who is: Confident working with people and leading a team Organised and reliable, with a practical approach Experienced in a similar food service or hospitality setting Comfortable managing day-to-day operations, including health and safety and food hygiene Salary and benefits Training and Development Opportunities 29 days annual leave including Bank Holidays plus an additional day after each year of completed service up to 5 days.
