What to Expect as an Early Years Teacher
* Lead planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Take ownership of observations, assessments, and planning for your key children, providing developmentally appropriate next steps.
* Mentor and guide team members, contributing to curriculum development.
* Serve as Key Person, maintaining relationships with families and supporting children with SEND/ASL needs.
* Ensure a safe, inclusive environment supporting emotional and social development.
* Encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
Ideal Candidate
* Hold QTS, EYTS, or EYPS qualification.
* Have extensive experience in an early years setting, ideally as a Nursery Teacher or Early Years Teacher.
* Possess leadership and mentoring skills.
