Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License, Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership, and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) are mandatory requirements.

Fraser Health Authority is seeking to add 4 consulting Dermatologists to enhance the current dermatology group, providing specialist dermatology care to the community of Surrey.
Surrey Memorial Hospital is a 641-bed, university-affiliated regional referral and community teaching hospital, featuring the busiest emergency department in the province. The hospital offers medical, surgical, neonatal intensive care, tertiary, ambulatory, cardiology, rehabilitation, and 24/7 emergency services, with nearly 180,000 visits annually. Its facilities include a dedicated Pediatric treatment and waiting area, a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with a perinatal centre, helipad, and expanded ICU.
The dermatologist will primarily provide outpatient and private community services, along with consulting for inpatients at SMH. Additionally, the dermatologist is expected to obtain a Clinical Faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia and to provide supervision, mentorship, and teaching to medical trainees.
Remuneration: Compensation is fee-for-service.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have full FRCPC certification and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
