Hays are excited to be recruiting for a temporary Sales Ledger to join our client, a legal firm in central Bath with parking. Working in a small and friendly team, experience within a finance team/function is needed, but most importantly you must bring drive and enthusiasm and a love of process and regulations. This position is temporary and is paying up to £17/hr. Initially they need someone for 1 month BUT there is the opportunity for temp-perm for the right person also. If you have excellent attention to detail and strong data entry skills, this could be the role for you.
Your new role
• Sales Ledger processing of invoices
• Local authority invoicing
• Processing sales receipts
• Cross checking internal reports
• Maintaining the database
• Credit control
• Administration to support the finance team
• Other general finance assistant duties.
What you'll need to succeed
• Experience doing sales ledger within a finance team
• Understanding of Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organisation skills
• Proactive approach to work
• Excellent Time Keeping
• Previous experience in a legal practice is desirable but not essential.
