Location; Swindon Support Centre (hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office)

About the role
We're seeking a commercially astute, data driven Finance Business Partner to join our High Street Finance team, based at our Support Centre in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on using financial analysis to support commercial decision-making, drive performance, and deliver accurate reporting and forecasting. Key responsibilities will include;
* Supporting the Head of Finance with all planning cycles, including budgets, forecasts, and the 3-year plan
* Maintaining and updating the Cognos database with adjustments for sales, margin, income, and costs
* Preparing budget and forecast packs, and producing weekly and seasonal performance reports for trading teams
* Delivering ad hoc and trial-based analysis to support key trading periods and initiatives
* Completing all month-end reporting, including journal processing, reconciliations, and variance analysis
* Managing aged debt and assisting trading teams in achieving cash targets at half and year end

* Fully qualified accountant (or working towards qualification) with experience in forecasting and budgeting
* Proactive and analytical, with advanced Excel skills
* Reliable and thorough, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Experience with Cognos and Power BI is desirable
* Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
