To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to come and join our team at our head office in Leicestershire, Ibstock LE67 6HS. Specific Responsibilities include: Production of monthly management accounts with precise analysis and insights, including variance analysis and KPI’s Responsibility for supporting the preparation of Forecasts & Budget for all elements of P&L Supporting the control of Capital spend Participating in regular review meetings onsite with all stakeholders and budget holders to manage costs and advise on performance Variance analysis and understanding with supporting commentaries and analysis. Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and review to identify and eliminate risk Supporting the annual statutory reporting process Provide assistance and good practice training to factories on finance and internal controls Implement and monitor financial controls across all departments/sites, and ensure adherence Respond to audit questions and requirements from Group and external auditors Partnering with operations and commercial team to drive business performance Essential Qualifications & Experience: Understanding of trading conditions Understanding of key business drivers Understanding company culture and processes Detailed understanding of accounting - Price/Margin/Cost Understanding price volume analysis Forecasting/Planning Stock/demand and supply process Financial systems and controls Internal Control environment. Inventory Management Manufacturing Experience Solid balance sheet understanding Negotiation & Influencing Self-starter with ‘can do’ attitude Initiative Strong interpersonal and Communication skills, verbal and written IT/systems - JDE, Hubble & Cognos preferable Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) Strong Excel Skills Think you can make a difference?
