Overview
This is an existing post to replace a consultant Rheumatologist at Prince Charles Hospital. It will complement the Rheumatology service in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. The successful candidate will work alongside another rheumatology consultant in PCH, as well as a further six rheumatology consultants across the Health Board. This post is currently supported by a Specialty Doctor, two Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialists, a Pharmacist, a GIM Specialty Registrar on rotation and an Internal Medicine Trainee on rotation.
Welsh language requirements
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable at Level 3 Speaking/Listening (or 'B1' Level if you've learnt Welsh as an adult). This doesn’t mean you have to be fluent or able to write long reports in Welsh; it just means being able to hold simple conversations with patients.
