Job Description:
Omega Signs is a major player within a dynamic and high-profile industry. As a result of sustained growth, the company now needs to recruit an additional team member.
We require a Bill of Materials Administrator / Planner to join our Production Management team.
Main Duties:
* Liaise with the contracts team to determine the customer requirements for signage.
* Collaborate with production operatives to determine the most up-to-date and efficient processes and materials for manufacturing signage in a cost-effective manner.
* Coordinate with purchasing to ensure the use of cost-effective materials and suppliers.
* Create the bill of materials on the ERP system, reflecting accurate predicted times for operations and correct material quantities.
* Monitor deviations from the bill of materials and update as necessary.
* Report cost efficiencies and suggest improvements.
Essential Skills:
* Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to follow procedures accurately.
* Computer literacy; knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous but full training will be provided.
Job Details:
* Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: £24,000 (based on experience)
* Benefits: Company pension, on-site parking, 20 days annual holiday + Bank Holidays + Birthday Holiday (rising to 25 after 2 years)
* Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week
