Telecoms Engineer (Rail) – Contract Roles - 9 Contractors Required
East London | 40 hours per week | £50/hour + Overtime | Ongoing Contract
We are currently seeking an experienced Telecoms Engineer to support ongoing rail infrastructure works in East London. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering consistent hours and competitive rates, with overtime available.
Key Requirements
* Valid IRSE Maintainer and Fault Finder licence
* PTS certification (any restrictions must be declared in advance) with DC lines competency
* Full UK manual driving licence
Technical Experience (Minimum 3 required)
Candidates must have strong experience in at least three of the following systems:
* Tunnel Telephone Systems
* Networking (switches, routers, firewalls)
* Telecoms cabling
* SCADA systems
* Legacy FTN systems
* GSM-R
* PAVA / PCDVA systems
* VIDs / THIDs
* Signalling control systems
* Train describers
* SSI interlocking
* ARF / ARS
* Telecoms UPS and DC rectifiers
Desirable
* Background in telecommunications engineering within rail environments
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
* Strong fault-finding and maintenance capability
