Role Overview
The New Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving new client acquisition through proactive prospecting, relationship development, and opportunity conversion. The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of winning new business within a marketing, brand, or creative agency environment and will be confident engaging senior decision-makers, including Marketing Directors, CMOs, CEOs, and Managing Directors. The role involves developing and executing a structured new business strategy, balancing lead generation, pipeline management, and proposal delivery, while working closely with senior leadership and the strategy and creative teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Identifying and targeting new B2B opportunities aligned to core sectors
• Building and managing a robust sales pipeline using CRM and outbound channels
• Developing relationships with senior marketing and procurement stakeholders
• Leading proposals, credentials, and pitch activity
• Delivering outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, events, and networking
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and commercial opportunities
• Reporting on pipeline performance and revenue forecasts
• Representing the agency at industry events and networking forums
Skills and Experience
• Experience in agency-side business development
• Demonstrable success in B2B marketing environments
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement capability
