Data Tester – Graduate/Junior Level – Now hiring!
We’re working with a household name within the UK, who are looking for a Graduate/Junior Data Tester to join a growing team.
Any experience around Data Testing would be ace, but they are very open to fresh graduates with a desire to get into the industry, who has a degree in Statistics, Maths or Physics, or a similar field.
It’s a brilliant time to get on board, with the company 2 years into a 5-year digital transformation. This year they are rolling out a new mobile application and next year launching AI and Machine learning into the business.

What you’ll be getting up to:
You are the guardian of data quality, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of our data systems within the testing strategy.
1. Providing release/project testing expertise, even outside regular hours, with meticulous test plans and comprehensive coverage reports.
2. Diagnosing and resolving issues swiftly by diving into the data logs and directing the right team towards resolution.
3. Crafting detailed bug reports and meticulously recording your findings in tools like Jira. You’ll also focus on automation to make testing smarter and more efficient.
4. Creating, refining, and enhancing test cases for our Data Platform Services. You’ll also be the guardian of quality, ensuring that test scripts meet the highest standards, whether they’re manual or automated.
5. Assisting in the testing of systems within our Data Platform Services to guarantee they meet design specifications and maintain data integrity.
6. Supporting internal clients with queries related to data systems and ongoing issues.
7. Keeping our management team and stakeholders informed of your progress and reporting on test results, including any unresolved defects.
8. Collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and Business experts to translate requirements into effective test scripts. You’ll ensure the test team is aligned with sprint priorities.
9. Maintaining a detailed knowledge of our company’s testing procedures, processes, and tools, and ensuring they are always up-to-date and followed diligently.
10. Sharing your expertise with the team, helping them develop their technical skills and best testing practices. Staying updated on emerging trends and practices.
