This is a role supporting the MD, and we are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with commercial property transactional work. You will be part of a busy team, offering high quality legal services and you are likely to be the first point of contact for clients and other third parties.
This role is fast-paced and we are seeking someone who can ensure close attention to detail and can offer a pro-active approach, and take responsibility for:
* Open and maintain client files
* Produce letters, forms and legal documents to a high standard
* Handle telephone enquiries in a professional manner
* Perform general office duties (photocopying, scanning, filing, etc.)
* Conduct property searches using appropriate online platforms
* Manage post-completion - SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations
* Carry out searches and handle Land Registry applications
* Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold firm procedures at all times
To be considered you will be working in a similar role and have good typing speed, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills and being highly organised with a professional attitude.
