Contract: Part-time, Temporary
Dates: 3rd November – 19th December
Salary: Dependent on experience (in line with national teaching pay scales)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school in Leyland for a part-time maternity/leave cover position from 3rd November until 19th December.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion
* Work collaboratively with the Humanities Department to ensure continuity and quality of provision
* Contribute to the wider life of the school as appropriate
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills and a passion for your subject
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
