Role Summary
The successful candidates will provide a medicines management service across the acute trust including one stop dispensing, assessment of patient’s own drugs and medicines reconciliation and be part of the technician checking rota as appropriate.
Job Responsibilities
This role is suitable not only for technicians that already hold a Medicines Management Accreditation but also as a Band 4 to 5 progressive role for qualified technicians or technicians that are due to qualify in September 2026 and are working towards their Medicines Management and Technician Checking Accreditation.

Working Pattern
37.5 hours per week. Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working. Please note that in order to deliver a high standard of care to patients the Pharmacy service operates 7 days a week and staff are therefore required to work some weekends as part of their contracted hours.
