Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic Building Services team. Your role will involve:
You will be responsible for:
* Designing and delivering electrical systems across a diverse mix of projects. These include but are not limited to lighting, power, LV distribution, containment, fire alarms, small power, etc.
* Assisting senior engineers in the full project lifecycle from concept and feasibility to detailed design stages.
* Conducting site surveys and attending client meetings.
* Preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
* Collaborating with other disciplines and stakeholders.
* Contributing to team collaboration.
* Mentoring other junior engineers

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or relevant subject.
* 3+ years of proven experience in electrical design within the building services sector.
* Strong understanding of UK building regulations and CIBSE guidelines.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Relux, Amtech/Trimble, etc.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Working towards chartership (CIBSE or IET) is desirable.
