Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical negligence law, demonstrating exceptional negotiation skills and a commitment to advocating for clients who have suffered due to medical malpractice. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients throughout the litigation process.
Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to conclusion.
* Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering evidence and liaising with medical experts.
* Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients regarding their rights and options.
* Prepare legal documents, including letters of claim, court documents, and witness statements.
* Negotiate settlements with opposing parties, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
* Represent clients in court proceedings when necessary, presenting cases effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of all case activities and client communications.
* Stay updated on relevant legislation and case law to provide informed legal guidance.
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor with experience in clinical negligence law is essential.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
