* This positions is for an experienced Validation / Verification Monitor who will lead a team of Val/Ver Monitors to develop / perform and conduct Validation/Verification of Technical Manuals to support Abrams, Stryker, MPF and/or S-MET programs. This position will also be responsible for the technical interface with external and internal customers.
* Additional duties for this position will include conducting EVMS activities, completing ROM/BOEs, updating internal processes (when needed), completing/status updates for CDRL deliveries and maintaining shop activities/updates when required.
* Must be able to organize and conduct Validation/Verification of Operator, Maintenance and Troubleshooting Technical Publications for tracked and wheeled vehicles and ancillary equipment to insure technical accuracy/usability.
* Will perform troubleshooting, maintenance and software downloading on Abrams, Stryker and MPF series vehicles.
* Perform diagnostics and systems troubleshooting of Abrams, Stryker, and MPF vehicles, components and assemblies.
* Support Government Verifications and Logistics Demonstrations / Maintenance Assessments on tracked and wheeled vehicle technical publications at GDLS and Government facilities.
* Serve as liaison between GDLS and Government representatives to resolve technical/administrative issues identified during Validation/Verification and Logistics Demonstration programs.
* Analyze Engineering drawings, electrical schematics and specifications to identify hardware configuration requirements and diagnose vehicle system faults.
* Must be able to use Microsoft Office products to develop/maintain departmental forms and records in accordance with ISO standards.
